01/21/2003 Entry: "WARNING: RANTING AHEAD"
GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!  I am so grrrrrrrrrumbly right now. Sent dh out this evening to the grocery where they were having a sale on their chicken quarters for $.29 a pound! Yah! Ten pounds of chicken for $2.90! That's too good of a deal to pass up!  So...dh goes there to get a) chicken and b) a gallon of milk. He comes home with b)milk and no a) chicken. Why? Because "they said they were out". Did I mention the sale ends tomorrow? Uhhuh. So I ask, naturally, "did you get a rain check?" and he says..."uhh...no...they said they were out" OH okay...so you didn't get a rain check because you figure if they are out you can't get a rain check...at this point I actually prayed for the Lord to control my eagerness to pummel my dh with the gallon of milk. I mean C'MON!!!!  ERRGGGHHH...okay I'll live to buy chicken another day but this just goes along with that old saying...if you want something done right...I won't bother to finish it...I know you know the rest. I know this is a tiny thing, in the big scheme of things ya know...maybe I need to get out more? 
Otherwise, I spent the entire day cleaning yesterday...vacuumed, dusted, finished up laundry (yay!), swept and mopped the floor, cleaned the kids rooms, and (drum roll please!) cleaned off my desk. (the crowd goes WILD) Yes, yes...I know...I'd like to start off by thanking the academy...oh wait...that was something else, sorry! Anyway, I was so tired yesterday I didn't get to type on here... 
Oh man...I'm in trouble. Dh is on the phone with his family...and I just overheard him say that this was his 11th anniversary in the Coast Guard.  Oh man...well, okay so now I feel guilty for ranting over the chicken--I stink. EEEEEEKK!!! I'll be back!!
