02/03/2003 Entry: "Busy Scouting Type Day"
It's the middle of the afternoon and I am making an entry...crazy huh? Well, my morning was filled with preparing B's Cub Scout Book for marking off today--making notes to his Den Leader about what he is due to get at the Blue & Gold Banquet. I have also been working on the newsletter to go out tomorrow. I will be printing it tonight and sending it out tomorrow. I am holding off because we have a comittee meeting tonight and there might be some good info to pass along from that. Dh took B to his meeting and they should be home around 4:30 then we have to return for the comittee meeting at 5:30. Whew. This is our big thing for this week though...I have to make a display of pictures for the B&G table...but all of the 'big' stuff is taken care of already...so that's a relief. B has been working HARD and will be getting his gold arrow point, and THREE silver arrow points along with his astronomy, heritages, music, & map and compass belt loops, and his astronomy, chess, art, & roller skating pins. He's very excited about it!
You might have noticed that dh actually posted in here! I noticed that he was spending alot of time peeking over my shoulder here, so I asked him if he'd want his own journal...he of couse said "no way!" and went on to say he'd hardly ever get to write in it and stuff like that...so it set my mind to thinking and I then told him...well, what if I fixed it so that you could write in THIS one...it could be our "family" journal. He started out saying "no" but then I told him he wouldn't have to write all the time, just when ever he wanted to...that it would be neat for everyone to hear about things that were important to him, and see things from his perspective...so he said okay! When B got wind of the fact that Dad was going to be able to write he immediately started lobbying for HIS own ID to come and post also. SO...without much protest I also have hooked B up with his own ID (Radical B) and he will be making posts now and again as well! I have actually fell in love with this format and such so I am glad my family is enjoying it too!
Well, I am off to get ready for the meeting. I might get to write later if I can find time between newsletter obligations lol I love you all!

PS I know you are all holding your breath over the IRS thing...lol well, I haven't called yet...but dh said he would when he gets home from Scouts...so we'll have news on that soon!
