02/19/2003 Entry: "The Big Announcement!"
To quote the oft quoted commercial "wehadababyitsa...er...alottalittleboysngirls"...hehe 
For those of you who have been following the saga known as "breeding CrawMommies in captivity with a bloodhound turtle"...we're proud to announce that our CrawMommy gave "births" today!

and of course we have to show you some pics of the few HUNDRED little crawboys and crawgirls! 
And finally, a special image of MY babies...my girlies...which I titled "best friends"...
We are off to an early bedtime tonight...work is going good for dh, he has a HUGE event coming up in a week or so where he will be serving the Admiral, mayor of New Orleans, some Commodore from Russia...for a total of 10 dignitaries on board for a breakfast meal at the boat, and then an estimated 200 people for a 45 minute reception on the boat after lunch. We're talking fancy-smanchy stuff...I'll make him come on here and post the menu cause it's a bunch of french words I can barely prounounce let alone spell, but HE knows it all...the Command met with him today to make sure everything was going according to plan and they told him that they trusted that he would do a fantastic job!  Dh is totally excited about getting to show off his talent, especially with such high ranking people! The coolest thing is they are going to decorate the ward room with tons of Mardi Gras decorations...same for the bouy deck where the reception will take place. I am hugely excited!!
