I know, I know...I can be such a baby. Dh left about 30 minutes ago to go back to the boat. Sniff...sniff. Well, you know, I am SO thankful he was able to come home, he showed up here on Friday evening...it was a great weekend, just too short is all. I know I am sure glad he got to come home at all though. He is supposed to be coming back home on Wednesday night to take the Service Wide Exam on Thursday morning. Please pray for him...this feels very big to me, and I am standing on the promise that God means to bless us in all ways if we have faith that He means it and means for us to claim those blessings. SO...I am standing firm that although my dh sometimes struggles with tests (you will have to take my word for it that it is merely testtaking and NOT his knowledge of the material that is the issue)--this time he will overcome the testtaking issue and "strut his stuff" the way I know he so surely desires to and moreso the way God wants him to.
We had company over on Saturday night and made a huge batch of dh's homemade bbq pork. Talk about YUMMY! It was a nice visit. I am in the process of getting out this months Cub Scout Newsletter...which is always fun...and making plans for this week. I will call my Mom in a few minutes cause I didn't get to talk to her this weekend. Talked to my Dad several times but not her...so I'm past due! I'm super tired for some reason--which is really silly considering the fact that dh let me sleep in this morning and got up with the kids! I should be energetic and read to go! lol I didn't remember to take my vitamins today (Centrum liquid vitamins--tastes TERRIBLE but work so GREAT I can tell such a difference!)--so maybe that is why I am a little groggy. Dh took the kids to the pool today for a few hours, and now they are all a little pinkish from the sun. They had alot of fun and R is starting to learn how to swim for real. I can hardly believe it. My babiessssssssssss...
Okay and in closing let me post this article I just got on one of my mailing lists...it's crazy...I could go on and on...but I won't. I want ya'll to like me ya know lolol Enjoy the read (which is really just politeness--I don't think anyone could "enjoy" reading about this subject)
